Hadrian attack surface management

Hadrian is an attack surface management platform that continuously finds everything an organisation exposes to the internet and tests it the way an attacker would. It suits security teams that want proven, prioritised findings between penetration tests, rather than a long list of alerts that still need checking.

The problem it addresses

A penetration test run once a year tells you where you were vulnerable at the time of the test. Your attack surface changes far more often than that: new cloud services, new third-party integrations, and systems set up outside IT’s view.

Many scanners also report vulnerabilities that may or may not be exploitable. Your team then has to work out which ones are real before they can fix anything.

Hadrian keeps looking between tests, and only reports an exposure once it has confirmed it can be exploited.

How it works

Hadrian has two products. Atlas provides continuous external exposure management. Nova provides on-demand penetration testing using AI agents. The work follows three stages:

  1. Discover. Hadrian finds every domain, DNS record, IP address, certificate, cloud service and app you expose, including hosts nobody remembers. Passive scans run every hour.
  2. Plan. AI agents work out how exposures relate to each other and how an attacker could chain them together.
  3. Attack. The agents test exposures in a controlled way to confirm they can be exploited, and record the evidence with steps to fix each one.

Key capabilities

  • Continuous discovery of internet-facing assets, with testing triggered automatically when a new asset or change appears
  • Every exposure validated before you are notified, with the requests and responses that prove it
  • Findings prioritised by business context rather than a generic severity score
  • Step-by-step remediation guidance. Hadrian says this cuts mean time to remediate by up to 80%.
  • Integrations that send validated findings into the tools your team already uses
  • Optional add-ons for assessing companies during mergers and acquisitions, and for detecting leaked credentials, including dark web monitoring

Independent recognition

  • Named a Sample Vendor in the Gartner Emerging Tech Impact Radar: Preemptive Cybersecurity, 2025
  • Named a Leader in the GigaOm Radar for Attack Surface Management in 2024 and 2025
  • Recognised by Frost & Sullivan for new product innovation in external attack surface management
  • Used by organisations including Crédit Agricole, Siemens Energy and London Business School

Who it suits

Hadrian is used by security teams in sectors including financial services, energy, healthcare and the public sector.

Common questions

How quickly does Hadrian find new assets?

Within the hour. Passive scans run every hour, and when a new asset or change is detected, event-driven testing starts automatically.

Does Hadrian produce false positives?

Hadrian says no. Every exposure is independently validated before a notification is sent, so your team only acts on findings that are real and exploitable.
