It combines endpoint protection with detection and response, encryption, patch management and cloud app protection, all managed from one console that can run in the cloud or on your own servers. The problem it addresses
Ransomware, previously unknown (zero-day) exploits and fileless attacks are built to get past tools that only look for known threats.

How it works
- Prevent. ESET’s multi-layered engine checks files, email and web connections in real time. Advanced Threat Defence adds cloud sandboxing, machine learning and behavioural analysis, aimed at ransomware and previously unseen threats.
- Detect and investigate. On higher tiers, ESET Inspect adds extended detection and response (XDR). It correlates activity across endpoints to find the root cause of an incident, and supports threat hunting, investigation and response.
- Respond. With ESET PROTECT MDR, ESET’s own analysts monitor, investigate and respond to threats 24/7.
- Manage. Everything is run from the ESET PROTECT console. ESET says it can run on your own servers on-premises or as a cloud-based installation.
